When the paths of life align under the Spanish sun, it gives rise to suspended moments, like this photo shoot near Escala, at Cala Montgó, captured during an unforgettable after day wedding. Floriane & Pascal, whom I had photographed at their wedding in Belgium a few months earlier, found me in this magical corner of the Costa Brava. An intimate and spontaneous session, set against a wild and romantic backdrop. And by a happy coincidence, I was only an hour’s drive away at that moment!
It was at Cala Montgó, a hidden and majestic beach on the coast of l’Escala, that we captured this moment. At the top of the cliff, near the old tower, cradled by the golden light typical of the region, they found themselves facing the sea. This photo shoot at Cala Montgó was much more than just a session: it was an enchanted interlude. The calm sea in the distance, the Mediterranean pines, and their natural camaraderie gave rise to powerful and luminous images, true to their story.
This type of moment perfectly embodies the spirit of a destination wedding: a celebration held far from home, enriched by powerful moments in iconic locations. Even after the ceremony, an after wedding day photo shoot allows you to relive those emotions in a spectacular setting, with complete freedom. At Cala Montgó, between the sea, cliffs, and pines, every detail seemed designed to elevate their story.
